Exercise Theory

   Beginning with a solid foundation is always the smartest choice.  Usually this starts with corrective exercises that are low intensity to restore balance through the musculoskeletal and neuromuscular systems. 
   From here we can start progressing Intensity; and focus on Strength, Power, Balance, Coordination, Speed, Agility, Quickness, and Improving Cardiovascular Endurance, depending on your goals.
   The usual goal is to progress to compound exercises that work many peripheral muscles through core activation.   Moving towards High Intensity-Interval Training to ignite excess post-exercise oxygen consumption, relating to more calories being burned after exercise is over.
    Over-training can bring about hormone imbalances, which can amplify acute injuries, or chronic injuries through over use injuries...Proper workout prescription and progression is key here.
